Privacy Policy
Wisp creates personalized meditation and hypnosis sessions. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it. The short version: your words are used to write your session, and we keep as little as possible.
What we collect
Your check-in. What you type or choose during a check-in (your goal, mood, and preferences) is sent to our servers to write and voice your session. Sessions and their audio are stored on your device, not on our servers.
Your account. You sign in with Apple or Google. We store the account identifier and, if your provider shares it, your email address. We use them to apply daily limits, recognize your subscription, and let you return to your account on a new phone. We do not ask for your name or contacts. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your real email.
Usage counts. We store how many sessions you generate per day against your account.
Who processes your words
To create a session, your check-in text is processed by our AI providers, Anthropic (script writing) and Google (voice synthesis), under their API terms. We send only what is needed to create the session. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your check-ins for advertising.
Payments
Subscriptions are handled by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details. Our subscription partner RevenueCat processes receipts to recognize your Pro status.
Deleting your data
Deleting a session in the app removes it and its audio from your device. Deleting the app removes everything on the device. You can permanently delete your account and its server records anytime in the app under Settings, or by emailing support@mywisp.app.
Not medical care
Wisp is a wellness product. It is not therapy, medical care, or a substitute for either. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note it here with a new date.
